At what speed(s) would you say the wind was blowing when you recorded it?
Used this in a theatre production of Sideways Stories from Wayside School. It was used in a couple comedic moments and an edited version was part of an "orchestra" created with surreal instruments. It worked great! Thanks!
Wonderful. Not without risk for your equipment when you use long cables. In this situation use 50cm max. And make compact setup. Mics on top of recoder. Even with XLR. Potential static voltage can easy go up to few hundred Volts high in mountains on a few meters. Than you can say goodbye to the gear.
