Recorder: Fostex FR-2
Mic: Audio Technica AT-835b (LoCut on)
Mic Position: about 20cm (tip) away from front of motor block
Post-processing: None

Free text:
The Rolls Royce limousine is a model from about 1930-1940; Since I haven't asked, I don't know the actual model number.
This is a by-chance recording during a short break at a film set - Which is why there are people in the back talking.
Also, I hadn't the time to remove the LoCut.

The motor first starts, then inserts the rear gear and drives slowly backwards (away from mic)

It really would have been better if there was no talking, but you could always use it if you are making an audio drama and the current setting is around a small crowd. Other than that, that is one nice engine!

Really nice recording. As you say, shame about the chat, but they always do, don't they? ;)
