plus that was a complement saying that you can add some verb to this. because many would add all of the atmosphere themselves, but this one is WORKABLE meaning that its flat and dry and you can add the verb and lay and, in less or more words, put it in an enviroment.
SO kudos for making a DRY gun shot!

@ HELLO_FLOWERS - dude reverb is the atmostphere or surroundings. like say i film in a forest i would want a hall reverb with lots of darks and some very faint scattered pong delay to simulate the gunshot bouncing off of the trees. you can have the best sample in the world but if it doesn't match the scene then you've just screwed yourself over lol
