Test of how Uoki-Toki Polivoks VCF handles SIN-wave. I tune the module I use as SIN-oscillator (Intellijel µVCF) to ca 270Hz. I connect it to Uoki-Toki Polivoks VCF. I let a sin LFO sweep the filter, CV1 pot at ca 70%.

I had resonance at 50%. I guess it is at the “end points” (max amplitude) of the LFO-wave the filter “screams”. I attenuated the LFO and the interesting sounds disappeared.

This is a really interesting sound.
How high was the resonance on the Polivoks filter? I imagine it was quite high...
Looks like when the cutoff frequency sweeps through the oscillator frequency the filter saturates and goes into kind of a foldback distortion (which is quite harsh).
Could you attenuate the oscillator and see if you can get the filter to saturate only slightly?
