Recording made in July 2013 on the shore of Lake Superior at Knife RIver, 18 miles north of Duluth, Minnesota. 30 minutes of surf on a rock shelf during midday. Occasional bird sounds from nearby rookery and a passing boat near the end.

Wonderful evocative sound, I love it. I have been using it as part of a collage backdrop for improvising for a while.
