A black and white bitmap image of a woman's face is converted into a wave file, using the freeware tone synthesizer Coagula Light. The resulting wave file is converted to a MIDI sequence, using the freeware utility Wave Goodbye. The resulting MIDI Sequence is played with the Anvil Studio synthesizer through the freeware VST synthesizer, The Shepherd. The sample saved here, a portion of the result, has a charming sci-fi faux theremin effect.Her smile is your synth sample.
