An experiment in mournful music and moaning wind. Admittedly, I haven't mastered the mix yet: The strings drop in and out. It's really a brief 'sound' poem...The wind is sagetyrtle's wonderful wind sample, the music is me playing processed strings. The strings are a quartet processed to sound a bit whiney and cloistered; also like "original instruments" (i.e., played with little vibrato and less resonance than modern strings). The music, on the other hand, is a few hymn-like progressions patterned after some chorales. I've added a quiet choir the second time around...Further work to follow! Sagetyrtle's wonderful sample is: 30444__sagetyrtle__wind2.wav.
