Recorded on the "monkey trail" in the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park, Palawan, Philippines.The scolding call of a White-vented Shama from close range, while another (probably the mate) can be heard in the background singing the musical song of this Palawan endemic species. The surf from the South China Sea can be heard hitting the beach down below . The equipment used was a Sennheiser MKE-300 mic with a Edirol R-09 recorder.
