I agree - the sound leaps out at the listener. Never thought of it but it does sound like pleased to meet you. These things help with bird call recognition - like the Great Tit "teacher teacher teacher tee" or the yellowhammer "a little bit of bread and no cheese".
These are the kind of 'miracle' recordings that remind one that field recordings are something a notch beneath heaven. How ever many times I've heard birds in a garden, samples like these remind me that they were fresh as creation from the start. Typical of your entire output. Wonderful.
