We have a channel down-town. Ships pass the sluice called 'sluis 0'. This name sluis-0 is because it is is the first lock of 21 in the Zuid-Willemsvaart (channel).

Its busy here, a lot of traffic, ships sail into- and leave the lock, builders at the other side of the channel. Sometimes you hear people waiting for the bridge to get open. The traffic (cars, trucks scooters and mopeds) is behind me on 2-10 m.
Useful as busy harbour-sound or down-town-noise.
Remarks:
04.10-10.30 first cargo-ships enters the ship-lock
08.20-12.20 second cargo-ship enters the lock

20.00-34.00 ships waiting in lift-lock, running idle
22.20- 23.25 enthusiastic class of 11 years old school-kids passing on bikes, doing there bike-examination as common here. (more bikes than people in Holland)
