Calm former monastery garden at the end of the summer, down-town, 's-Hertogenbosch, Holland.
My microphone is between two very small fountains, meant to drink from (see picture, behind bike).
The park is surrounded by high and old buildings. On one side it is open to the street where people have there business.
The carillon of several churches and the town-hall are audible sometime.
People walk trough the park and the street.
The seven small fountains in the park are from artist Irene Fortuyn
Moment 18.55: some birds were taking a long bath in front of the microphone.
Moment 22.20: a bird was sitting and hitting the stand of the mic.
Moment 30.50: some small kids in the building having fun.
It's lovely to hear the wind blow trough the leaves some moments.
Because it's the end of the summer the birds do not sing so much. You can hear them search for food between the dry leaves on the soil.
I have tried to get a balance between the water and the environment.
It's a meditative, calm and relaxing ambiance recording, inspired by the freesounders that send me mails and comments and asked me to do some more relaxing recordings. It's a wonder that I could cut-out 42 minutes from 3 hours of recording there.
I special thank to all the people walking by and not starting a conversation with me during the recording. Afterwards some curious came to me and wanted to know what I did record and why??? I hope I have some new fans. ;-). I hope you like this audio to and fall a sleep with it.

Thank you for this - I am listening to it at work to drown out the hectic office sounds and allowing me to concentrate.
