Standing in the spring field, farmland, 250m from a city. Sometimes people walk around close. The light hum of traffic. Little wind. Close dog at the end. Sometime far subtle carillon/city-bells audible.
Useful as general noise track under film.
This is recorded in the pasture adjacent to the city of '-Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands. The distance from me in the field to the cathedral of Saint John (sint Jan) is only 400m. The distance between the beginning of down-town and the pasture is not more than the thickness of the old city wall.
The carillon is played by Joost van Balkom, the city-carilloneur.
You can look and listen to his play at this LINK. If he obviously plays?
Live playing is between 11.30-12.30 every Wednesday of the year.
Recorded: April 8th 2015, 1pm
