Ambience from an April evening during sunset at the river Maas in the Netherlands. The sunset is in 40 minutes after the start of the recording.
Birds in and around the river. Sheep and cows far.
Across the river two man are making fire for the night. The are fishing. If you listen well you can her there far voice sometimes. The gasping sound from a grey heron. The mating call of the oyster catcher and the Eurasian Green woodpecker. Geese and lapwings audible.
Sometimes a far train over the river-bridge on 2.5 km (right).
A single far motorcycle and car. Two cargo ships sail towards Germany ore Belgium during this recording.
Weather: 11-8c, clear sky, wind NE 1bft, 1024 hPa, hum 78%.

Is it possible to listen to the sunset? I say yes. All sound and animal behaviour change in time when the sun goes down. What is your point of ‘view’?
