Class 14's No.9520 and No.9529 heard at the 'Class 14's at 50 Event' on the Nene Valley Railway 16th August 2014
A birthday celebration of 50 year old 'Class 14' locomotives at the Nene Valley Railway. At Wansford station an announcement is made regarding the next arrival a 13:30 service from Peterborough. Two Class 14's pass by, No.9520 (in green livery) leading No.9529 (in BR Blue) and slow to a stop with a rake of blood and custard coaches, a generator can be heard running on one of the passing carriages. Bells and levers are heard in the signalbox as the crossing gates are opened, several waiting cars pass.
