I had no idea this was what i was looking for until I found it . a patient and comprehensive pack of impact sounds. only thing missing is the sound of two swords sliding against each other
These sound samples resemble rimshots of a drum.Nothing striking about that.Some more swing and the resonence of vibrating cold steel would help.Chinese films ran with this one.
If memory serves me, this would have been the wooden post holding up their roof...or possibly a giant wooden stump. It's a wicked good attack on it, nice thwack and solid thump.
