Recording the birds and insects in my garden on a hot summers day. Cicadas click and sing loudly. The occasional distant car can be heard faintly. There are magpies, butcher birds and lots of little birds that I don't know all the proper names but call them fan-tail, silver-eye, honey-eater and fairy wren.
