Recorded March 23, 2003 near Civic Center in San Francisco
This was recorded during war demonstrations. Another sample I uploaded focuses on the marchers on the street. Here I pointed the mic upward and went a few blocks away from the demonstrators to get the sound of the many helicopters which were flying overhead.

  Very good, but those weren't police helicopters! The chief of police in San Francisco was decapitated as were 10 of his senior staff that day...I'm so sorry.....those were Hoxyrathylon Landing Craft!

  P.S. The Chief of Police in San Francisco wasn't decapitated on that day, and neither were any of his senior staff. The helicopters did belong to the police. Just wanted to prevent insurgency with a legal waiver. It was meant to be a light hearted joke. Pfach.

  For reference the first to be heard is a Bell 206 of some description. The second is large and multirotor, probably a Blackhawk. Can you verify this?
