I grew up in New Jersey and have been combing this site looking for the night sounds i would hear as a child from my open bedroom window on a summer night. Imagine my satisfaction upon listening to this sample and knowing i had hit paydirt. Thank you so much - this is EXACTLY what i was looking for.
Excellent. Clean, no perceptible hiss except the natural high freq of lower volume cicadas. Captures the natural ebbs and tides of volume as the cicadas' song increases or decreases in intensity. Great work.

Great sound, I use this to harden my dog who fears lawnmowers worst of ever. This works on the training great.
