Bubbling stream recorded in February 2010 at 24-bit/96KHz in Boykin Springs park. Lots of airplanes over the forest that day. Ruined about 30 minutes out of 1 hr and 23 minutes of recording. Droning sounds were removable, but some were not because they saturated too much of the high bass and low mid-range content. Had to completely remove those sections. This sample had to have one droning fly-by removed. Had over 12 airplanes to be recorded with the stream on that day. Used a digital recorder, 2 Rode mics, and a custom-built wind screen. No wind distortion at all on the recording, just airplanes and inquisitive passers-by. There were so many planes, though, that I began to wonder if the state of Texas had secretly built an airport in the back of the park. Thank goodness for narrow-band equalizers!
