This set of five drum sounds has been synthesized using the Kangas Sound Editor, an open-source/freeware program widely available on the Internet.

An XML file which contains the parameters for this sound file is downloadable from:

It is possible for this XML file to be imported into the Kangas Sound Editor, the drums sounds re-generated, and subsequently customised. Examples of such customisation are:

1. Extraction of the drum sound of interest.
2. Modification of overall parameters of the drum sound, such as base pitch, volume graph/envelope or duration.
3. Modification of individual inharmonics/partials (called anti-harmonics within the Kangas Sound Editor).
4. Mixing in new instruments (defined as sets of harmonics/inharmonics).
