This is the ambiance on a July summer evening in the countryside west of Brussels. The birds and the crickets sing, the dog barks, the children play. Came back completely relaxed from the recording session. Recorded with a boom pole mounted AT825 to Sound Devices 702. I extended the boom to its full 3 meter length and stood it up vertically.

  ok, a word to users experiencing difficulties playing the file: as most of my recordings this one also has a 24 bit sample resolution aka bit depth. Make sure the player you use can properly handle 24 bit sound files. Also a 24 bit capable sound card is required to take the benefit from high resolution audio.

  i loved this piece - but, when i downloaded it - it would not play. i changed format in dbpower amp - but, got a terrible digital noise in the file!
