Thank you very much Mr. Iwan Gabovitch. I'm intending to use your "Retro Elevator" sound clip in a personally made fan video to the UK televsion series theme song from "Mr Selfridge". I appreciate the quality and will include your creative commons license within the description of the finished video. Thank you very much. G.Ritchie.
FLAC files are lossless audio files, if it's being read as text format its because the software you're using doesn't support FLAC. files
ps. - as Lossless Audio implies, it means nothing is compressed and it captures buch more high end and low end frequencies than most other types of files like MP3 or WAV. Vinyl copies of music is FLAC styled so you'll hear much more listening through vinyl than from CD or MP3.
pps, unfortunately, FLAC files are also much larger in Memory than MP3. but if you're into a very amazing range of highs and lows. its worth it.
Yet again, great sound. Too bad it's in flac. I know the flame wars between flac and wav but doing audio design for a living, it sucks having to deal with flac in the ocean of wavs. I'd muccccchhhh rather use with 48k 24 bit wav than flac that then has to be digitally converted by audacity. Just a rant :P Nice sound though!
I've been listening to this track for months on end, so it's about time I comment. My friends and I are mostly theatre artists, and we have a blast cueing each other to play this sound whenever someone opens or closes a door. This is my homepage, and I could not be more grateful for the smiles it has provided us with. Thank you.
