I use a bamboo stick to generate some wind *swoosh* sounds.

I have used your sound in this short film. You are also in the credits. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OA1RPos5mxI

if you open it with audacity, you should see that it is the full file. vlc is bad at playing super-short audio files. try aqualung instead.
also I can recommend flac (command line) or sox (command line) .. or use something from http://flac.sourceforge.net/download.html .
also see this pack as a 7z archive download at http://opengameart.org/content/swish-bamboo-stick-weapon-swhoshes

(Doesn't seem to work from the sample pack either?)

Hi qubodup!
The sound is great, but for some reason I cannot download it correctly??
It's only 54kb, which seems a little small for a FLAC file.
Cannot play it in VLC, cannot convert it either.
