go to the more recent felix blume recording on freesound-- really
excellent and much longer I heard them day after day in the far eastern part of the Ecuadorean rain fores -- now Cuyabeno National Park. it has stayed with me to this day-- some 25 years ago. that and the sound of tinamous in the dusk.

having lived in Surinam for three years, I still dream of the amazing sound these birds make.

you wouldn't happen to have a longer, higher quality version of this file, would you?
