Cricket at night, sitting on the garden stairs of our hotel in Uxmal, Mexico.
It
has been recorded first from a certain distance, then from very close,
so that one can hear the scratching sound of the wings rubbed at each
other to produce the typical sound.

  I am downloading this for a cell phone ringer and it is great the way that it increases in sound. It will be great to have a soothing ringer like this instead of all the annoying default sounds!
