Water drops from a tap falling into a pan standing in a kitchen sink, giving a metallic and at the same time splashing sound. Sony ECM-MS907, Marantz PMD671.
I used this recording as part of a sound piece played within a sculptural cave-like installation called the "Cryptic Lagoon", by Andrew Kerr, exhibited at Utrophia Project Space in Deptford, South London. You have an amazing collection of recordings! Good job.
Sorry, forgot to write it into the description. Its a Sony ECM-MS907 into Marantz PMD671 (see above). I placed the mic at a distance of more or less 5 cm above the place where the drops splashed into the water. The pan (flat cylinder shaped) was nearly filled to the brim.
