Solo cello improvisation, featuring classical/romantic styles pushed to logical conclusions (not pretty).

Lots of sounds you won't find in the vienna symphonic library. Including my blocked up nose.
Recorded in mono 24bit/48KHz using a close miked AKG C480B condenser microphone with CK61 (cardioid) capsule.

You know, after listening to this beautiful classical piece a LOT of times that you did, it kind of reminds me of that Violin theme of Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherazade which I uploaded on this site once, But now I deleted it and I need to re-upload it. I will sometime use the beginning of your piece on a Podcast I'm creating about all of my compositions and arrangement pieces. And I will use my Re-Uploaded Scheherazade theme for the end of my Podcast.

Hey Richard, Can you please play the same music, but make it the opposite of "Not Pretty," to Very Pretty?" And make sure to use Beautiful Vibrato and some times Molto Vibrato.

And what I mean "Very Pretty," is that you can use some and more romantic, but NOT TOO MUCH Glissandos or portamentos like you did in the "Not Pretty Version."

I think you should call this, "Bastard 2 (Pretty Version)."

Thanks. And I also enjoyed your Pizzicato recording.

Thank you, yes I composed this- although it's improvised (so this is the only documentation of it)

Beautiful Music. Someday, I will use it for a funeral scene in a movie that I will be creating. Again, did you compose this?
