This sample pack contains ten samples of a standard orchestral tubular bell playing the note A. This was recorded live at 3rd Avenue United Church in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada on the 27th of November 2009 by Dr. David Puls. NB: There is a live audience present and thus there are sounds of movement, coughing and so on in the background. The close mic was the front capsule of a Josephson C720 through an API 3124+ preamp whilst the more ambient partials of the source were captured with various microphones placed around the church. Recorded to an Alesis HD24 then downloaded into Pro Tools. Final edit in Cool Edit Pro.

Beautiful thank you. With Audacity I made two octaves and was able to reproduce a melody that needed the bell component enhanced. Some of the recordings had very little background noise so I found no distraction.

Great sound, but that background noise is distracting.
