some timpani rolls, flams, etc. 'performed' (i certainly do not claim to be a good timpanist) on both drums, tuned to G (low) and C (high). mono, mic positioned about 80 cm above and between drums.

recording setup (applies to all these timpani samples): Marshall MXL 2003 condenser mic > ART Digital MPA tube preamp > M-Audio Delta 1010.
