This is a widely spread Greek rhythm and dance. Most commonly notated as a 7/8 rhythm. The name originates from an area in Peloponisos.
Recorded in a middle sized studio.
Microphone: AKG-C414 at approx. 30cm distance from drumhead.
Percussionist: Stelios Togias.
Note that this is a pretty fast version of this rhythm, faster than the most common tempo.
