Boy, I wish I'd had a good recorder back then, but better than nothing at all and no use wishing on the past. Travelling on an ICE train 2007 from east to west, approaching Eisenach, towards Frankfurt. Most of the recording is of the kid and her mother and friend in the seats in front of me. Some announcements from the conductor (German and English), cell phone ringtones and phone conversation at some point. I like the part where the girl appears to be saying "nada" and then sings what might be a nursery rhyme. I've looped that part here: http://www.freesound.org/people/toiletrolltube/sounds/181318/ But nada sounds nice too and could make a nice loop. Train noise is quite low, but they are quiet trains from what I remember. The location on the map can't be 100% accurate, should be close enough though. Recorded on an Olympus WS200 voice recorder. Considering it was originally in .wma format the quality isn't too bad and some parts may be useful. Please note, this is an Attribution Noncommercial recording.
