Part of a series of portal sound effects created for a radio theater fantasy series. This one is a straight-forward mechanism sound with some "sparks".

  Thank you kindly for this sound and its two related ones -- I'm using them in an upcoming Minecraft mod (source found at http://github.com/narc0tiq/BeamMeUp), and they sound absolutely perfect on my teleporters.

  I remember that the "sparks" were very difficult to create from scratch. It's been so long now I probably couldn't do it again. I should have saved them as a separate sound!
