Feb 10, 2006 The recording is made with 2 Neumann-mikes inside the bowl. I am working on a piece for singing bowl, live-electronics and soundtracks. This recording is made to find out what I can do with the sound and my software. I listened to a bunch of bowls (200?) and decided to buy this one. Thanks to you all for the votes and the comments :-)

Feb 9, 2009 Dear fauxpress, the fun part is that a regular waveform like this one iondicates that the bowl is produced in a mechanical way, not by hand :) I do have better ones now, the waveforms are not as regular as this one, but the sound is much better :) I hope to upload some of them soon.
