Apr 13, 2007 6 seconds that shaped the future of music for the next 38 years. This break formed the whole jungle genre and all of its sub-genres. Nice bit of music history here, amazing how 6 seconds could influence so much.

Apr 22, 2008 nah not with amen they would have to think about everyone else who ever used it i think, they couldent single any one person out, thats what im thinking, but if anyway says nout i dont even use the anying picececec of crap anymore its drilled itself into my head the only time im gunna use it now if for pisstake tunes that need something recanisable, i might make one more nuts as f**k break and put it up here thouh if i could stand it, see what goes down, but seriously if your planin on using this drum kit, change it beyoung redognision other wise your a looser like me. peas ps sorry that was so long i have major bad insomnia and it makes me waffle.

Apr 24, 2009 just wanna say that the amen break is really a great place to start if your a beginner junglist because its so easy to use. even unsliced, it's a great example for people who want to get an idea of what can be done with drums aside from the basic backbeats. contrary to the tags i added it is really inspiring, if not a bit overused, but it makes me want to get a drum set of my own. too many people disregard the drum set as "not a real instrument" etc, replacing drummers with machines, but in reality the drum set is one of the most difficult instruments to master. also, im glad to see my tags were met with the response i intended to provoke (humor) instead of hostility :3

May 22, 2009 slight hostility, amen is held in high regards to me but i love it and hate it at the same time. the problem with it is it sounds so much like amen you cant get away from it, inless you mangle it beyond sounding like anything, then someone would maybe still be able to tell it was amen.
