I don't know how to thank you for the best thunderstorm I ever downloaded!!!! Even better than that Suburban Thunder which is so exagerated..... I'm a lightning freak and I've been in hundreds of thunderstorms...to the point I almost got struck twice...and I REALLY KNOW HOW A REAL THUNDER SOUNDS....AND YOURS....ARE AMAZING!!!!!!!!

Excellent thunder recording. I once tried to record thunder with a mini recorder, but lightening struck the neighbors yard about 20 feet in front of me with deafening thunder so I went inside.

There exists an amazing program to layer and loop nature ambience from user imports, SoundSenseIt comes with several thunderstorms licensed for it, however, sheesh,I brought this one into the app to play it, and it loops REAL nice. It's now part of my winter Environment collections to get that fix for rain in winter. What's nice about this app is it can play 100's of sounds at the same time, real messed. I wrote a song today after getting completely soaked to the bone in a spectacular thunderstorm in NYC. Upon searching the internet for thunderstorm samples, I came across yours, and it is absolutely perfect. If you'd like, I can send you the completed song. It's just an instrumental thingy; I'll put it on my band's website in the offchance that people will like it.

This is beautiful. The rain is so clear but it doesn't turn into fuzzy white noise, which is rare in rain samples, and the thunderclaps are gorgeously resonant.

This is great, I am using it to desensitize my dog to thunderstorms as she is phobic. Playing it very quietly at first - louder though it is very believable for her, and you can't fool a dog's ears that easily. Great recording.
