Description by FreqMan Request by "sylther" for heart monitor. I found the correct frequency from one of my sound effects CDs... generated it with the Sound Forge frequency modulator - made a few quarter second beeps - and put a tiny little spacial reverb on it. (also from Sound Forge) It goes along steady for a while - quickens a bit and then flatlines. Tragic circumstances... simply tragic.

I guess this is a strange question... but what "note" is this. I am trying to base a song around the usual note of an ekg flatline. I work in a hospital and have rarely come across an ekg with a different tone than the one above, so i'm wondering if anyone knows. Even just the frequency would be fine. Thx!

it is what I´m looking for, but could you make one that is not so loud? my ears hurt when I listen to the high pitch tone :(
And it wouldn´t be good for the story if people talked and the pitch tone inbetween it ;)
(I´m making a radio soap.)
