Description by reinsamba Early sunday morning bird concert in a natural forest north of Cologne, Germany, shortly before sunrise. At the end of the recording a chaffinch (fringilla coelebs) singing close to the mic. Vivanco EM35 with preamp into Marantz PMD 671.

Thank you for this recording. In my profession I read technical papers on cancer all day - it's hard to concentrate. Giving my sub-conscious such lovely background to occupy it, my brain works better! Birdsong (and waves) is particularly pleasant for this and so your recording much appreciated.

I'd like to second the person who said it was "long enough" - so often a lovely sound like this doesn't work for my purposes (audiodrama) because it isn't long enough. Thanks for the excellent work.

hallo. bin ganz erstaunt - hatte erwartet, der ruhige waldsound komme aus den wäldern canadas. wusste nicht, dass es in deutschland so stille orte gibt und :-)
kann die sounds gut gebrauchen, denn hier in der ostschweiz gibt es keine 15 film SEKUNDEN, ohne dass ein flugzeug, hubschrauber oder eine andere maschine ihre duftnote setzt.
fazit: thanks for sharing :-)
