Description by ERH	The general ambience of the British Library in London. Recorded on minidisc February 2008. This one is in the main entrance or concourse and has a very open ambience due to the high ceilings and solid floors. Voices and footsteps are prominent.

May 22, 2008 really full, because the concourse is right on us, but the background 'ocean' is there as well. And some of the footsteps are deliciously resonant. I never thought about how sonorous libraries were until I heard these...
