Description by Microscopia	This soundscape called 'Rural Retreat' was inspired by O. Winston Link's 1957 recording undertaken Christmas Eve at Rural Retreat, Va, USA. My own version here is a 7 track stereo mixdown of similar railroad sounds such as the passing steam train, the warning bell of an automatic crossing, church bells, chimes or carillons and other sounds of nature such as the mocking bird and a passing thunderstorm.
