I'll be posting ambient sounds here, mostly field recordings. I record and use these for use in my music compositions currently found here: http://www.macjams.com/artist/smokeyvw

My recorder records directly to MP3 - so that's all I can post here. My apologies, especially to the audiophiles here, I know that some fidelity is lost in the encoding process, but the sounds are still useful in my opinion.

I've been trying to consistently comment on samples that I have used from this wonderful site in my music compositions - please feel free to comment on my samples if you found them useful. I'd love to hear about how they are being applied.
