Kids at a playground. (binaural, please use headset for 3D effects)
I made this recording during a warm late winter afternoon, sitting on a bench at about 10 meters from a playground located in a wide public garden of Nanterre (western suburbs of Paris, France).
One can hear kids running, playing and screaming, while parents are chatting around the playground during this pleasant sunny afternoon.
In the background, light hum from the city and noise from a distant construction site.
Recorded in March 2026 with a Zoom H5studio and Ohrwurm 3D binaural microphones.
Fade in/out and high pass filter at 60Hz -6dB/oct applied in Audacity.
(If you want to use this sound as a mono audio file, you may have to delete one channel to avoid phase issues).

Yes, that’s the problem ! If something is irreplaceable and special, one will like to use it often, and this is precisely why it would break ! ;-)

The moment i realise something to be irreplaceable is usually not long before I break it.

Thank you very much Colin !
Unfortunately, this wonderful and relatively cheap mic cannot be found anymore. (Sadly, the friendly German guy who built it for me in 2017 or 2018 isn’t reachable now.)
So, as you can guess, I really treasure mine. Some months ago, it broke, but luckily, my father and I managed to fix it ! ;-)

Your binaural microphones sound very 'real'.
Beautiful ambience.
