Calm suburban crossroads.
I made this recording while sitting on a bench, during a nice spring morning, just near a calm suburban cross roads located in Nanterre, in the western suburbs of Paris (France).
One can hear some vehicles like cars, bicycles, and some buses, passing by in front of me, as well as some people walking and talking in the surroundings, and some birds (blackbird, tits, robins, parakeets, crows, and more) in the background.
Recorded in March 2026 with a Zoom H6Essential and its Zoom XYh-6e stock microphone.
Fade in/out applied in Audacity.

It may be simple, but never boring.
I have a few traffic captures, but always thought they fell short. I just couldn't figure out why.
