About the location
The port of Lage Zwaluwe is located on the river Amer, where it flows into the Hollandsdiep at the mouth of the Merwede. On the other side of the harbor of Lage Zwaluwe you will find National Park De Biesbosch. In the middle of nature, but with all the space and facilities that appeal to the modern water sports enthusiast. A marina with allure where many feel wonderfully at home. A marina where you would always want to be.
The environment of Lage Zwaluwe consists of low-lying polder land in the transition area of river clay and marine clay. East of Lage Zwaluwe you will find some nature reserves, such as the Domeinenput, a former sand extraction pit that is surrounded by swamp forest, where you can swim and have a picnic. Further east is a creek system.
