When people place a comment regarding a specific sound it would be nice to be able to reply to that comment. It makes the users much more approachable and people would more easily make conversation about certain aspects of the sounds that more users might be interested in, for example. It's somewhat unhandy having to copy the comment in a private message and replying that way.

Who else sees a comment-reply button as a possible new feature?

I agree. I had to look up your comment just to figure out a way to respond to someone directly.

Yah I see it working out but maybe have a little thing saying around the reply button explaining it a little more for new user and users that don't now exactly what it does, just though but other wise I think its a good idea.

I am looking forward to this, too. I like to reply to my commenters. Hope freesound adds this feature soon.

How about we keep the system we have but if you comment on a sound then you receive any other comments regarding the sound or just receive any comments from the owner of the sound. Kind of like what the forums does, if you make a post then your subscribed to that post until you decide to unsubscribe.

I see your point, but it would be very useful to be able to say thanx and deliver some other necessary info or comment and maybe point to a forum post or what not. I'm not a programmer but I guess it wouldn't be to hard to implement.
