I think we've had 3 or 4 different random sounds of the day today.
Average glitch or is the server just excited?

apparently our servers got bored with the random sound of the day and decided to change it without our permission...

well... no, we've been updating some bits of the freesound infrastructure and the servers were restarted a couple of times today. that's why we had more random sounds of the day

It would be nice if the creator of the sound that is picked: "sound of the day" would get a message about this. It is like winning a lotery!!

That's a nice idea!
I'll open a ticket and discuss with other developers.

I got featured a few years ago, and thought this should be how it worked.

Fortunately I knew because people were commenting on the sound in unusual volume, but for others, it may not be so obvious.
