Two things came to my mind today:

1. It would be nice to be able to edit several sounds at once. I tried to change the license on all my sounds to cc0 and had to do it 1 by 1. Dunno if this only applies to changing the license type or if there are other scenarios where batch editing could be useful (renaming of sounds maybe?)

2. Another thing that I'd like to see is that one could describe the samplepacks and maybe add a cover picture or something like that

Off topic: those freesound shirts I've ordered look and fit nicely smile

You can add a picture to a sound pack by the way which will function as a heading image. This is done in the pack description text box (thus you can describe them too).
This is one of my packs for reference https://www.freesound.org/people/Headphaze/packs/9878/

In the description text box (the one you get when clicking on "edit pack information") enter this HTML code to embed an image:

http://i.imgur.com/7B8wjOP.png

note that it must be a direct link URL which will end with the image format e.g. http:\\i.imgur.com/xxxxxx.jpg

This will also work in sound descriptions, in forum posts and in forum signatures. Be careful of the size though because the image will appear at the size of the source and not be resized to fit the web layout, so if it's very large it will be clipped off the right side of the screen.

Hope this was helpful; sorry it's a bit a late reply smile

Hi there,

I'd like to batch edit the sound license to CC0 for all my sounds. Is there a way to do this other than individually editing each sound?

There isn't a way you can do this yourself unfortunately.

If you send a support request via the contact form we might be able to help you out.

Ok no worries. It's ok it's not so many so I'll just do it.
