Hello technical team,

When i upload a new sound and it comes on the homepage there is now picture and the sound can not be played the first few hours.

It happens alsow with other new sounds.
I hope you understand what i mean...

I had the same issue - it seems as if the processing doesn't actually complete even though it says so. Though re-uploading it seemed to do the trick somehow and the sound became playable after some minutes.

I did re-upload but that did not work

Same problem here. Uploaded a new sound about 12 hours ago. Meanwhile it is playable and displayed as it should be. Be patient... I am shure the freesound guys are aware
