I had stopped running dares, but this idea came to me today and I thought it was crazy enough to be worth a try.
I have started a 'Word association game' on the Off-Topic thread.

And here is the dare: When (if) we get to 100 words on the word association game thread, would you record yourself reading all the words and upload that to Freesound?

I want to believe.

How did I not know about this!
I'll be on it. Also, I'm going to add to the beatbox warmup challenge. I finally got my mic back.

I feel bad for being somewhat nonactive on here, I saw this a while ago right after seeing that the last few dares haven't been going so well. I would of tried to do a submission for them if I had the time... so for that I will record the first 1-100 words most likely all in the same sound to save uploading time for myself and the admin who ends up listening xD. Hopefully it will be useful either way.

Guys and Girls

How did I miss the posts on this thread?
I mean I have been on hols shortly after posting the dare for 2 weeks, but I should have been subscribed to the thread by default and getting emails - Guess what? I wasn't (reporting this as a bug, by the way...)

I was thinking no one had participated at all. Just bumped into this by chance.
You must have thought I was really rude by not saying anything!
So, many thanks to the Freesoundrers who have participated! And to the people who's voices they borrowed (if not posting a self recording).

Please keep them comming. This is good fun.
I will see if I can record one of my own.

Thanks again.

I want to believe.

Absolutely incredible! Unbelievable, really... This is still going after 10 years and klankbeeld has read 4999 words and recorded them.

I want to believe.
