Hello dear Freesounders

Shawn Klein, a friend of mine has a show on an internet radio called The Global Voice.
http://theglobalvoice.info/

The Global Voice is celebrating it's 6th birthday on May 1st.
Celebrating this event, they want to have announcements in various languages. The folks at the studio have already recorded their own, so American English and British English are covered, they are specifically looking for announcements in languages other than English.
(having said that, if you have a nice regional British accent and want to lend your voice to The Global Voice, read on)...

Here is the announcement that Shawn would like in as many languages as possible:
“You’re listening to The Global Voice. Welcome to our 6th birthday celebration!”

Any language is welcome, including minority languages, as well as conlangs like Volapuk, Interlingua and Esperanto, and fictional conlangs like Klingon, Elvish and Dothraki. Good pronunciation is preferred (no fake accents, please!).

To submit your message please upload to Freesound and post on this thread to let us know. I will try to moderate the sounds quickly.
- Please also if possible, include your translation in the description of your sound, in the language’s native alphabet if applicable.
- Please use the tag 'The-Global-Voice' and appropriate tags to describe your language (and accent, if applicable)

UPDATE: deadline 28th April 2015

Thank you !

I want to believe.

You have a very soothing voice, you'd make a great Audio Book reader. grin

Hi all, Shawn here from The Global Voice, I just wanted to thank everyone who sent us greetings, even though through some mix-ups and communications breakdowns they didn't all make it onto air. We'll be announcing the winner of our language identification contest, and giving thanks and attribution on air this Sunday May 17th at 18:00 universal time (UTC) on The Attitude Test, at
http://www.theglobalvoice.info
You're all invited to join us via Skype, or just tune in and listen. We're also available on Tunein radio on your phone.
We'd also like to ask everyone who recorded for us, if it would be OK if we continue using the front half of your greeting, the "You're listening to the Global Voice" bit, as regular station ID's from now on. Thanks again, and see you Sunday.

Production wing of The Global Voice Internet radio.
