I used this slowed WAY down to represent giant gear bearings, in a school video project. Thanks!

Hello again, I ultimately decided not to use your sound in my movie. Not because it's bad, but because my "horror" movie turned into a horror/comedy movie instead ^^... If you're interested in the result then here's the link: http://youtu.be/LgOG676DAyQ

I did however download this sound and the other one you provided (the one with the knives) Thanks a lot for replying and giving my ideas and material!

Hi! I'm going to use this for a movie I'm making via "Garry's Mod". I was actually looking for metallic sounds for a battle scene I'm attempting to make, but I think this sound is a lot better for a horror scene in my movie.

I like the sound, thanks for putting it up!

Haunting atmospheric creak. Looking to possibly use in a film.

Very cool sound, I used it in a song as the main, leading sound (after distorting it a little; very dark, experimental track). I think you're doing a great job with supplying us with such sounds, they're hard to achieve for me. Thanks!

I intend to use this sound as a backdrop for creating a feeling of suspense, fear, or notion of something falling apart.

I used this sound in this track http://soundcloud.com/t-spin/freenoise . It's a very good sample of a computer fan which does loop very nicely and provides and excellent ambient texture.

That's the cool thing about raw sounds, they collide and create new sounds that are even crazier.

    On sound: Quiet Computer Fan
